Staff forms can now be found on Beacon's staff portal:
On the staff portal, you will be asked to complete forms that replace our traditional Staff Reference Form, Statement of Faith and others. You will also be asked to provide a scanned copy of your police check once you have completed the application.
If you have questions, please contact the camp office, or your session director.
Refer to the packing lists on your specific camp page for general items. Below are some other ideas of things that might come in handy for cabin leaders:
✔ Alarm clock
✔ Cabin decorations
✔ Cabin craft supplies
✔ Age-appropriate story for night-time cabin reading

Resources for Cabin Leading
Below are some resources to help you succeed in your role as cabin leader, director or program staff.
In order to volunteer at camp we require proof of a Police Check completed in the last three calendar years. If you are in regular contact with children at camp (cabin leader, program staff, teacher), we require that this Police Check also include Vulnerable Sector Screening. Beacon accepts current police checks from other organizations, but may need to see the original upon request.
Due to insurance regulations, we are no longer able to use online police check services for police checks which also require vulnerable sector screening . While this is inconvenient, we are aiming to protect our campers to the best of our ability, and so we appreciate your support in having a police check done at your local police facility.
