Lives: Guelph, Ontario
Last summer, what camps did you serve at or attend?
I was in FLIGHT, I was the director’s aide for Senior Girls and I was a camper for Coed.
Can you share a funny or special Beacon memory?
One of my favourite memories was on the out trip at Coed this year. It was the third day, I think, and since we only had a short canoe ride till our next camp, we stayed at the one site for a little longer. We were swimming and of course the guys were throwing each other around trying to keep each other from getting to the shore. My friend joined in with them and we were all just laughing so hard. I think it's my favourite memory because we were all just happy where we were and we weren't caring about anything else.
What are some things you hope to do between now and the summer?
I would like to learn how to juggle because I think it would be a fun talent to teach the girls I will be counselling.

What advice would you give to someone volunteering as staff at Beacon for the first time
Remember to take time for yourself and for your own time with God because yes, you’re trying to make the camper's time amazing but you still need time to calm down and release the stress.
